Basket Knot Earrings - Deck Chair

Large, bright, multicolour, knotwork dangle earrings made using a stripey fabric covered cord. This design is called 'Deck Chair', designed by me for this collection and not available anywhere else. The wide stripe design creates a modern colour-block effect. The basket knot earrings are made from two strands of narrow fabric covered cord, tied in an intricate woven style coin knot and finished with silver plated findings. A new bigger size of knot earring that packs an impact while still being light and comfortable enough for all day wear. This style is also available with either pierced or clip-on fasteners. This is one of the core classic Bunny Bosworth pieces that are now available in this exclusive new collection of sustainable fabric designs. Fairground Follies is inspired by vintage funfair and circus imagery, in a colour palette that works through the seasons featuring rose pink, rust red, navy blue, golden yellow, off-white and turquoise. There is a choice of three brand new exclusive prints in this collection; Candy - A narrow regular stripe design that highlights the decorative knots. Harlequin - A fun diamond pattern that curves with the cords and creates infinite colour combinations. Deck Chair - An irregular wide stripe design that gives a modern, statement, colour-block look. I have designed the 100% cotton lawn fabric specifically for use in my jewellery collections so they are not available anywhere else and they are printed on demand here in the U.K. to minimise waste and emissions. The fabric is printed using GOTS and Oeko-Tex certified inks, made in a socially responsible and environmentally friendly way. The knots are constructed of two individual pieces of hand-covered cord and are around 4.5cm wide. The total length from the top curve of the fish hook to the bottom of the knot is 7.5cm. The silver end caps are 7mm diameter. This piece is delivered in a hand stamped, recycled card gift box with a padded fill, making it perfect to give as a gift for that special occasion. If you are sending direct you can have the item gift wrapped in brown paper and ribbon and sent with a handwritten card for a small additional fee, just choose the gift wrap add-on at check out.
