Teardrop Earrings - Margaret Annie

Brightly coloured Liberty print tear drop earrings made using a floral fabric covered cord. I hand cut the fabric and cover the tiny cotton cord myself before creating the delicate tear drop shapes. Perfect for everyday or special occasions, all earrings are finished with silver plated findings that are lead and nickel free and you have the choice of fish hooks for pierced ears or clip-on fasteners. As they are made from fabric these earrings are very light to wear making them comfortable enough to keep on all day. I make these using genuine Liberty of London Tana Lawn fabric. The fabric is a classic colourful floral design called Margaret Annie in bright primary shades of red, blue, yellow and green on a white background. This particular print has a slightly retro feel to it, like sixties and seventies floral designs on a small scale. The placement of the flowers will vary with each pair making them totally unique to you but if there is an area or colours of the print you prefer let me know and I can make sure it's used. The little hoops are constructed of two individual pieces of hand-covered cord and are around 2.5cm long. The total length from the top curve of the fish hook to the bottom of the teardrop is 5.5cm. The cord section measures just under 2cm across at the widest part. The silver end caps are 7mm diameter. This piece is delivered in a hand stamped, recycled card gift box with a padded fill, making it perfect to give as a gift for that special occasion. If you are sending direct you can have the item gift wrapped in brown paper and ribbon and sent with a handwritten card for a small additional fee, just choose the gift wrap add-on at check out.
