Large blue floral knot earrings made using a colourful Liberty print fabric covered cord.
The fabric is a classic floral design called Libby - a classic delicate Liberty floral design created in the 1930's. This small scale print features clusters of hand-painted flowers in shades of golden yellow, lilac, white and cobalt blue, and fresh apple green leaves on a black background.
The basket knot earrings are made from two strands of narrow Tana Lawn fabric covered cord, tied in an intricate woven style coin knot and finished with silver plated findings. A new bigger size of knot earring that packs an impact while still being light and comfortable enough for all day wear. This style is also available with either pierced or clip-on fasteners.
The knots are constructed of two individual pieces of hand-covered cord and are around 4.5cm wide. The total length from the top curve of the fish hook to the bottom of the knot is 7.5cm. The silver end caps are 7mm diameter.
This piece is delivered in a hand stamped, recycled card gift box with a padded fill, making it perfect to give as a gift for that special occasion. If you are sending direct you can have the item gift wrapped in brown paper and ribbon and sent with a handwritten card for a small additional fee, just choose the gift wrap add-on at check out.
