Pink and red floral twist pendant in made from Liberty of London tana lawn. This statement necklace is easy to wear, a great day to night piece and a perfect gift.
This stranded rope necklace is made from genuine Liberty of London tana lawn which has been hand cut by me on the bias then sewn around a cotton piping cord core. Three strands of the covered cord are then twisted together to make an unusual textured pendant.
The fabric California Bloom - loosely drawn, brightly coloured flowers litter the surface of this 1970's design that wouldn't be out of place on a 1930's tea dress. The bubblegum pink background clashes in the best way with the painted flowers, in shades of scarlet, mustard yellow, turquoise, orange, white and burgundy with apple green foliage.
The ends are finished with silver plated clamps and it is suspended from a silver plated curb chain and fastens securely with a lobster clasp. The twisted cord section is 25cm long and fastens with 10mm diameter end caps at either end. The chain measures 12.5cm either side and is lead and nickel free.
Great for layering with other pieces from the collection or wearing as a simple accent to your outfit, it easily goes from casual over a simple t-shirt, to smart worn under the collar of a denim blouse, to special occasions making a statement with a plunging neckline, and is even ideal as unique bridal jewellery. The light and soft nature of the pendant makes them easy to wear all day, especially in hot weather, perfect for festival season or taking on holiday.
