Bold and colourful Liberty fabric knot earrings made using a colourful fabric covered cord.
The fabric is a bold floral design called Gloria Lomo - a modern imagining of a bold 30's floral, with bright flowers in golden yellow, scarlet, cobalt blue and damson with emerald green leaves on a black background. A larger scale with more simplified flowers but still embodying that vintage feel.
I hand cut the fabric and cover the tiny cotton cord myself before creating the delicate knotted shapes. Perfect for everyday or special occasions, all earrings are finished with silver plated findings that are lead and nickel free and you have the choice of fish hooks for pierced ears or clip-on fasteners. As they are made from fabric these earrings are very light to wear making them comfortable enough to keep on all day.
The knots are constructed of two individual pieces of hand-covered cord and are around 2.5cm long. The total length from the top curve of the fish hook to the bottom of the knot is 5.5cm. The cord section measures just under 2cm across at the widest part. The silver end caps are 7mm diameter.
This piece is delivered in a hand stamped, recycled card gift box with a padded fill, making it perfect to give as a gift for that special occasion. If you are sending direct you can have the item gift wrapped in brown paper and ribbon and sent with a handwritten card for a small additional fee, just choose the gift wrap add-on at check out.
